Description:
Provide on-site engineering support to amicably assure the successful definition, integration, operation, and certification of Garmin avionics in customer airplanes. Work directly with the customer to closely understand core technical and programmatic requirements and desires, and proactively communicate and work with the Garmin technical team to meet and exceed those. Position is based at customer site. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: On-site developmental support for Garmin avionics systems, including working outside normal business hours
Participate in avionics integration bench - Hot Bench - tests
Gather data during aircraft flights
Participate in preflight briefings and debriefs
Trouble-shoot aircraft problems related to Garmin systems
Work closely with Garmin Engineers and customers to coordinate issues/resolve problems
Provide technical information to customers and access to Garmin technical documents
Coordinate, assist or provide on-site training for Garmin systems
Expedite Garmin hardware when up against critical time constraints
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other job-related duties as assigned
