Key Responsibilities
· The position is approximately 30-40 % field work and 60-70% office work on a variety of projects including industrial and commercial sites.
· Will work under the direction of the Group Manager or Senior Project Manager.
· Performs environmental remediation feasibility studies and alternative evaluations to meet ARARs and risk based cleanup goals.
· Will write work plans, perform cost estimates and lead sampling and environmental remediation implementation efforts in the field.
· Directs and supervises technical assignments (both field and office) and manages specific elements of projects.
· Maintains effective client relations.
· Prepares and conducts technical review of reports, correspondence and calculations and will prepare technical recommendations.
· Prepares proposals with limited supervision; assists in preparation of large-scale proposals.
· Follows company safety standards, site safety standards, and provides all required permitting.
Basic/Required Qualifications
· BS or MS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or related technical field.
· 5 to 9 + years of related environmental experience.
· EIT, PE or PG desired but not required.
· Experience with writing risk based cleanup reports.
· Experience with evaluating remediation clean up alternatives.
· Experience with environmental regulatory programs particularly RCRA, CERCLA, and CWA
· Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare reports and proposals.
· Demonstrated project task management abilities.
· Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.
· Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
