Aurora Loan Services is currently looking for a Treasury Analyst.
 
This is a key position in the Treasury team, responsible for daily and monthly cash transaction processing, as well as participation in numerous special projects. The position requires regular interaction with a wide range of local business units as well as teams in other corporate locations. This individual will play an important part in designing and implementing ongoing procedural changes and automation initiatives, in a fast paced environment characterized by strict adherence to tight deadlines and dedication to quality control in all aspects of the process.
 
General Duties:
 
Reconciles daily and intraday cash positions utilizing bank balances and daily cash transactions. Assist in monitoring and managing the firm’s liquidity position.
Assists in the processing of incoming and outgoing wire and ACH transactions required by the firm.
Calculate and prepare actual and projected cash flow schedules, historical bank balance summaries and depository float analysis.
Maintain credit, investment and depository banking relationships.
Prepares and analyzes month end reporting, including bank charges and working capital lines. Work with banks on any discrepancies.
Prepares policies and procedures documenting Treasury processes and controls and makes recommendations for improving efficiencies and controls.
Internal/External contacts: Aurora Bank Management and Staff, Executive Management, Senior Management, Management, Other Departments, Within Department, Peers, Vendors, Financial Institutions, Customers/Clients, Agencies.
Works under general supervision applying well established techniques, procedures or specific standards. Work reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy. Executes policies at direction of supervisor and makes recommendations for change.
No responsibility for supervision of others.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Business Administration or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in a complex, multi-divisional organization.
Prior mortgage banking or loan servicing experience highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  
Technical Skills
Experience with BNY CR+, BNY Inform, US Bank Singlepoint preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of wire, book transfer and ACH transactions and policies related to Bank Secrecy, Patriot Act, OFAC and other federal exclusionary lists.
Basic: Administrative, Microsoft Access Database, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office Equipment, Project Management, QA Testing Tools, Statistical Analysis, Telephone.
Skilled: 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Reporting tools, Windows Operating System.
Advanced: Analytical, Critical Thinking, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, Numerical Calculations, Research, Verbal Communications.
