Description:
Fortune 500 company in downtown San Francisco has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant/ Accounting Analyst on a long term temp or possible temporary to permanent basis.
We are looking for a self-starter who has large company experience to be responsible for monthly forecasting, budgeting, and month end close.
-Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
-Variance analysis (budget and forecast)
-Work heavily with complex contracts
-Prepare journal entries, complex reconciliations, maintain general ledger
-Provide record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions
-Prepare profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will only be considered with the following prior experience:
-Must have a 4-year degree in accounting
-4-6 years senior accountant experience
-Complex account reconciliation experience: including multi-entity and consolidations
-Large company experience
-Income recognition experience
-Advanced Excel skills: including pivot tables
-Access experience
