Description:
DESCRIPTION The Manager will be responsible for coordinating Marketing related deliverables surrounding the launch and deployment of a new mobile content application. The Business Requirements Documentation Manager may have the additional responsibility of managing and coordinating a team capable of delivering and supporting the same services during its deployment. General Job Duties: Business Requirements Authoring Skills: Working closely with the project team and an external vendor, the Business Requirements Documentation Manager will take responsibility for writing and editing business requirements documentation for the new application. Requirements Documentation Manager must individually: Gather and validate requirements from a number of internal stakeholders. Document these requirements in a clear and concise manner. Identify potential areas of conflicting requirements and drive to resolution. Create a formalized set of requirements documents. Interface with Marketing: Work with the Marketing management team to gather and verify that internal Marketing requirements for the new application are agreed upon and documented properly in a formalized Marketing Requirements document. Interface with outside vendor: Work with our chosen vendor to ensure that business/marketing requirements for the application are documented, understood and agreed upon. Develop and drive a migration strategy that will have the least impact on customers and content providers. Coordinate with customer service channels to develop and gain approval for documentation which will educate reps about the migration. Identify processes which need to be migrated and work with teams to document migration efforts for the specific processes. Manage change control requests across marketing managers. Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years experience with managing large platform deployments Previous experience with managing large scale projects is mandatory Previous experience in creating complex business requirements documents Strong understanding of the technical components which make up a large scale Web commerce site Previous experience with WAP or handset based browser technologies preferred Excellent interpersonal communication skills Excellent conflict resolution and management skills are mandatory Strong cross team management skills required SKILLS 5 years experience with managing large platform deployments Synectics offers competitive salaries and a full suite of benefits.
