Job Description Quality Assurance and Data Reporting: This position will focus on How the company can profile the data and automate the QA process. Strong understanding of Testing Methodology: Testing approaches and Strategies. Strong understanding of Quality Management and Quality Methodology. This candidate will NOT be a QA TESTER but they will need to be able to write about the testing strategies and best practices. Must have strong background in Financial Data, Testing Methodology, Data Reporting and Data Storage. Experience with Data Analysis tools are a huge bonus: Data Flux or Data Profiler Structure business requirements to facilitate test plan creation. Support Data team and QA with testing activities and needs. Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing. Work with customer and QA in the creation of application build schedules. Formalize QA and Release Process. Improve Reports for Data Analysis. Analyze data for internal processes. Decipher how the group can profile medical data and automate the QA process. Decipher what types of checks/Test will need to be put in place to improve the quality. Validate the accuracy of healthcare data. Use reporting and analysis tools to ensure the companies data quality standards are achieved. Communicate data issues to the appropriate parties and assist in the resolution. Contribute to establishing standardized business rules for the data ingest process. Monitor the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of routine data file extracts. Clearly document results of data analysis and issue resolution. Display core values of Teamwork, Excellence, Innovation, Trust, and Accountability. Function as Subject Matter Expert for team members. Function as project lead for Special Projects Business Analysis and Process improvement: Work with project team to facilitate communication between Data Certification group and business units, including open issues, project prioritization, resolutions, project requests, and resource allocation. Facilitate cooperation and rationalization of unclear or conflicting goals, assist in identifying and communicating viable alternatives, and assist in the implementation of decisions. Using advanced business unit knowledge, proactively research requests for assistance and recommend solutions or process improvements that will meet business needs. Identify implicit, unstated, or unrecognized business needs and assist client in determining if buy/build software, process reengineering, or other technology options may (or may not) be the most desirable solution. Facilitate the prioritization or feasibility of solutions and make recommendations to the client and management that will not only provide short-term success but support the accomplishment of long-term business goals. Provide guidance, task direction, and mentoring to other Analysts and assist with problem resolution across projects. Facilitate analysis meetings with customers to determine and prioritize business and system requirements for projects characterized by high-profile status, risk, and/or complexity. Document and analyze requirements (eg business system, security, conversion, and report), develop detailed data, functional design and document specifications, and assist with conversion, testing, training, and other project needs throughout the development life cycle. Perform walkthroughs and/or prototype demonstrations as needed.
