Title : Senior .net Application DeveloperLocation : Germantown, MDDuration : 6 monthsJob Description : Our client is looking for a Senior .net Application Developer for a 6 month project in Germantown, MD. Transforms the application design into a working application and generally performs unit testing of their work. Specialist in using SQL and automated tools for obtaining answers to Clientspecific business questions from the Datawarehouse and for providing the ad hoc interface to the data warehouse. May be proficient in one or more tools to help visualize information obtained from the data warehouse. The developer may work with the DBA on issues of database performance, view definition, security, summary tables, etc. While this person may also be the application designer, there will be people that prefer the technical implementation work over end user interaction. Required a. Senior developer with atleast 7 years of development experience Good software design skills Experience with Windows platform development, Windows .NET WPF and ASP.NET Applications Proficient with the following: i. C# ii. SQL iii. .NET 3.5 SP1 (At least knowledgeable in one or more of the following) 1. Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) 2. Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) 3. Linq-to-Entities (MS Entity Framework) iv. Web-based application with ASP.NET v. SQL Server 2005 Desired (in order of preference) a. Oracle DB server b. Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernatec. Java Server Platforms (ie WebSphere, Tomcat, Glassfish) d. Message Queuing (MSMQ and JMS) e. Reporting Writing f. Knowledge for Retail POS Systems g. OPOS device programming, device programmingClient prefers candidates that are local to Maryland, or the ones that can relocate on their own to Maryland.
