Murrieta based MANUFACTURING company currently interviewing SENIOR COST ACCOUNTING candidates. PLEASE READ THIS JOB DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY: Will report to the Accounting Manager, will need to be able to work with all levels of management, BS Degree with major in Accounting, 8 yr COST ACCOUNTANT exp in the MANUFACTURING industry UTILIZING AUTOMATED STANDARD COST, JOB COST and other inventory systems, exp with government contracts +, will determine the standard cost/rates for Material cost, Labor Rate and Overhead Rates, will include monitoring/controlling the revaluation of inventory to the new standard cost, approve all new parts and provide guidance and support in the development of part structures,routings and proper setup of inventory parts, analyze and support inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and completeness, monitor changes to the manufacturing reporting system to ensure all changes are correct, run all month end reports and process inventory statistics, maintain compliance with all SOX policies, procedures and controls as they relate to inventory, standard cost and job cost systems, provided assistance where needed with monthly closings, quarterly reviews, the annual audit and Board of Director's meetings, etc. APPLY TODAY!!
