Description:
We are looking for an accomplished GUI developer with experience in Java web development, including familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and application servers. This person will be responsible for developing a Java web-based application that manages our client's NAS servers and appliances.
You will do full development of new major and minor features with an eye to making sure GUI products have a high-quality user experience. Particular attention will be paid to consistency of user experience thought the product families.
Requires: BSCS or equivalent, EXCELLENT Java skills (including core libraries and OOD skills); Must have 5+ yrs total professional experience with 3+ yrs Java in a web environment; Hands on with JavaScript, CSS, DHTML; Experience developing in a Linux/Unix environment including, familiarity with Linux CLI, Experience with Linux UI (design, mockups and usability guidelines)
PLUSSES: Preference will be given for knowledge or experience with C++, AJAX, Swing, J2EE, JSP, Ant, Web Services, SOAP, XML, and Photoshop
