Description:
Local companies are looking for a Medical Assistant with a minimum of 5 years stable experience. As an MA you are responsible for assisting with blood draws, need expert IV skills, ECGs, source documentation preparation, coordinating tests and follow-up care. Helping with patient/family education. Orders and receives medical supplies. Position requires current MA Certification, current CPR certification, Electronic Medical Records experience, preferably NextGen. Must have current knowledge of HIPAA, Osha, Clia and other governmental regulations in a doctor's office. Surgery scheduling and timing is a plus.
