Marketing Web Application Developer
Summary
This position is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of external facing web applications in ASP.NET, VB, C#, and SQL using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2008 and MS SQL Server 2005. The applications are used to deliver medical reports, orders, statistical data, and general information from Genoptix to clients, partner labs, and business associates. This position will be the most public face of IT at Genoptix.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Modify and enhance web applications in C#, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, javascript and AJAX.
· Maintain custom applications by completing feature enhancements and fixing bugs.
· Interface with internal customers to clarify feature requests.
· Interface with QA to clarify bug reports.
· Interface with Marketing to define desired look and feel.
· Build PDF templates for various application generated forms.
· Organize and condense common functionality where possible, work towards a coherent and complete portal based off existing individual pieces.
