LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – PITTSBURGH, PA DISTRICT OFFICE
Orbital Engineering,® Inc., is a nationally recognized multi-discipline engineering and design company with offices in Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, and Detroit, MI. The Electrical Engineering Department at our Pittsburgh, PA District Office has a Lead Electrical Engineer position available for a motivated, ambitious, and goal oriented Sr. Electrical Engineer with experience in leading the design of new or refurbishment of existing steel finishing lines (i.e.) pickling, annealing and cold rolling. The ideal candidate will have experience in Power Distribution, Motor Control, Lighting, Grounding, Specification Writing, Studies, and Cost Estimating. The Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of local and international codes.

Currently, Orbital Engineering,® Inc. is providing Engineering Services for a variety of customers in the following industries:
Chemicals
General Heavy Manufacturing and Heavy Industry
Metals (ferrous and nonferrous)
Petrochemicals
Power Generation (fossil)
Refining
Paper and Pulp
The Ideal candidate will have experience in Power Distribution, Power Generation, Motor Control, Lighting, Grounding, Specification Writing, Studies, and Cost Estimating. The Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of local and international codes.
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
1. Perform technical analyses of electrical power systems including: short circuit, coordination, and load flow studies.
