Position Summary
Reporting to the AVP of Client Services, the Lead Business Analyst is responsible for providing LifeSuite expertise and leadership to implementing clients. Will work closely with client to provide high-quality requirements, design, configuration and releases of insurance solutions software. Perform role as product expert by establishing the initial configuration and set up of LifeSuite Plans, Rules and Tables based on client’s business and workflow. This individual is the primary contact with client and will help maintain the client relationship. Must have the ability to work independently. This is a revenue generating position.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Participate in Gap Analysis reviewing client operations to identify modifications and understanding of client’s products and operation requirements. Assist in the Gap Analysis documentation. • Perform detailed Product Assessments reviewing client product design for compatibility with LifeSuite. • Assist project manager to prepare detailed project plan and drive assigned tasks for implementation • Ability to prepare training material & system documentation • Assist with initial LifeSuite training – ability to train in all aspects of LifeSuite functionality • Work with client in establishing Model Office Infrastructure and practices • Establish initial configuration and set up of LifeSuite plans, rules and tables, and all other configuration/set up tasks. • Establish strong Client Relationship • Create Complex Business Requirements for system modifications • Participate in design reviews with client, development team and technical architects to ensure the design will meet UI & business requirements and to understand and be able to identify any impacts the design may have on testing strategies • Create comprehensive test schedule, test cases and data • Queries database tables for data verification using existing SQL queries/DB toolset • Creates intermediate level XML documents for quality assurance test. • Drive the testing effort of Model Office. Provide expert advice on LIfeSuite functionality and StoneRiver testing methodology. • Contribute to establishment of standards, process procedures, and system workarounds. • Assist with process redesign of client’s workflows and procedures. • Assists in the content development and maintenance of operations procedure manuals. • Uses defect-tracking tool to analyze, report and track application defects and enhancement change requests • Identify areas in which additional revenue producing services can assist client in achieving their goals. • Provide regular reports to project manager of requirement & testing status. Communicate in a timely fashion any problems or potential problems that may jeopardize project tasks or time lines • Mentors, leads and directs work for other Business Analysts • Participate in project management meetings conducted by client & project manager • Provide expert feedback for improving StoneRiver implementation documents, practices, and procedures • Provides leadership to the project team in the absence of the Project Manager

• 5 plus years Case Management experience. Supervision of underwriting department a plus • 4 years college education preferred • Strong life, health, and/or annuity knowledge required • Excellent Interpersonal skills • Must be able to set, achieve and drive deliverables • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong presentation skills • Completion of Chartered Life Underwriter designation desired • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook • Travel and on-site consulting up to 50% • Experience with Project Management tools • Creates intermediate level XML documents for quality assurance test.

• Ability to hear and communicate clearly, orally and in writing • Uses vision to view screens, create and review documents; requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus • Capable of using a keyboard effectively • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and may occasionally lift and move 25 pounds • May require the ability to drive a vehicle • Up to 50% travel may be required for training and on-site consulting
