Position Description:
Successful candidate will work as part of a Data Analyst Team working with users in receiving requirements and developing Logical Data Models which will be incorporated into the Enterprise Data Model. Will use and help maintain naming standards, modeling standards, develop models for the Enterprise Data Warehouse as well as data marts. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with User Collaborating Working Groups (CWG’s), and make presentations to the user community and the Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB). The candidate will need to be enthusiastic, well organized, capable of working multiple initiatives at a time, and present new and alternative options to content delivery. The candidate must be highly creative, passionate, eager to learn new tools, and quick to pick new skills. Initiative, independence and teamwork are very important qualities to have for this position.
Technical Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of Data Analysis experience • Ability to speak and write with clarity, precision and conciseness • Familiarity with OLTP [Third Normal Form (3nf)] and OLAP (Star Schema) data models • Ability to work in a matrix management structure (contractor, client and project management) • Strong ERWin (or other similar tool) skills • Ability to develop Logical and Physical Data Models • Experience working in large complex organization • Relate the logical model at an enterprise level (experience with Enterprise Logical Data Models is a MUST) • Understanding of enterprise data modeling, data normalization and data integration issues • Willing to stand up for the enterprise data modeling effort and ability to defend it within application development groups and persuade development teams to use it • Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Embarcadaro and/or DataStage is a plus • U.S. Citizens or Greencard holders only, due to clearance process
Preferred: • FDIC or regulatory systems experience
Educational Requirements:
B.A./B.S. Degree or Higher in related field.
