For more information, visit www.3M.com/touch. 3M Touch Systems is seeking an experienced electronics engineer to join a team developing touch screen electronics and associated software support packages as a Product Development Engineer. The teams develops capacitive and bending wave touch screen technology for a broad range of markets including retail, financial, medical, gaming and digital signage. This business is based in Methuen Massachusetts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Take a leading role in new capacitive touch screen electronics development, including standard products and customized products for large applications
Work with contractors and resources from other parts of 3M in ensuring successful product development from concept through to release for manufacturing
Ensure that new products meet all appropriate regulatory and industry standards, including 3M's own quality specifications
Stay in touch with the implications of new components, technologies and platforms
Interface with 3M Touch Systems' QA team and respond to feedback provided by them
Diligent recording of activities, decisions and experimental results
