Job Responsibilities
The eBuy Manager will be responsible for facilitating the use of eBuy tools on behalf of the Disney Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) organization.

This individual will support the achievement of S&P’s goal to significantly increase the number of RFPs and price negotiations conducted via electronic sourcing tools.

This individual will be accountable for:
-training S&P staff on the use of the tools
-acting as internal consultant on how best to use the tools to achieve their goals
-providing event management assistance
-soliciting feedback on tool use
-assisting in the prioritization of related system configuration updates
-maintaining templates based on business needs
-holding mock eAuctions with suppliers
-sharing best practices
-assisting non-S&P users as adoption increases

The eBuy Manager will continuously improve Disney’s digital sourcing process by identifying and leading efforts in conjunction with S&P staff.

Reporting Relationship:
Director, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability

Key Accountabilities
-Understand Disney’s sourcing process and lead the effort to digitize to drive productivity and improve supplier price competition
-Act as a change manager within S&P to drive department-wide utilization of eBuy tools
-Develop, update and deliver training content to all users in both a classroom and virtual setting
-Develop, update and facilitate the dissemination of eBuy supplier support content via Disney’s intranet and sourcing tool
-Establish, communicate, and maintain a calendar of mock eAuction events. Hold mock eAuctions on a centralized basis for all of Disney’s eAuction invited suppliers
-Provide consultative support on the use of eRFP’s and eAuctions. Facilitate the creation of eRFP’s and eAuctions by providing real-time instruction on eBuy template use
-Actively monitor all eAuction events. Provide eAuction event management assistance as needed
-Solicit user feedback on eBuy tool. Maintain a user feedback log and prioritize systems configuration updates in conjunction with the S&P Automation team
-Update eRFP and eAuction templates based on priorities defined by S&P. Maintain control of the eRFP template master and drive common templates to the extent that this improves sourcing productivity
-Share best practices on eBuy tool use
-Measure eBuy goal achievement in conjunction with Procurement Operations
-Keep abreast of current industry best practices
-Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances

Critical Skills Required
Core Skills:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to effectively deliver training to various levels, geographies, and professional disciplines
-Ability to gain consensus
-Ability to collaborate in a team environment
-Strong internal customer focus
-Ability/desire to work in diverse environment
-Knowledge of state-of-the-industry sourcing and procurement processes
-Experience managing automated eRFX projects and eAuction events
-Experience in developing eAuction strategies

Desired Qualifications:
-5-7 years experience in in-direct category sourcing
-Knowledge of Disney’s sourcing process
-Bachelor’s degree required in Business or other quantitative discipline
-Experience with 9R1 release of the Ariba sourcing toolsets including eRFX, Analysis, and reverse auction
-Fluent in multiple languages

Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel (position may require up to 50% travel on a periodic basis)
