Description:
Corporate Director of Safety
Major Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain corporate safety vision and strategy
Responsible for the development and implementation of corporate safety standards, metrics and programs
Responsible for DOT Fleet and Driver's safety, workers' compensation and compliance
Promotes an environment that encourages the reporting of any control violations.
Responsible for management of Workers’ Compensation program
Administer the medical program including medical clinics
Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in controlled situations
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years experience in safety management
5 years experience direct supervision of exempt level safety professionals
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Risk Management, or other related discipline
Preferred Additional Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Safety, Risk Management, or other related discipline
This job provides relocation assistance.
