Description:
Seven Entry Level Specialists (4 for the Albany area and 3 for the New York City area) for the Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP), OHIP has offices in both Albany and New York City. The locations to be supported in Albany are the Corning Tower, One Commerce Plaza, 800 N. Pearl Street, 150 Broadway and 260 Washington Avenue. The locations to be supported in New York City are 90 Church Street and 80 Maiden Lane. Some travel between local sites is anticipated and must be included in your hourly rate. This Fast Track procurement is being sent to all the OGS Procurement Services Group (PSG) Consulting Services Contractors based on Hourly rates for the following Category of Expertise: LAN Services.Four (4) candidates for the Albany area and three (3) candidates for the New York City area. MANDATORY Requirements: NOTE: CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR FURTHER EVALUATION 1. A minimum of one (1) year IT technical support experience in Windows Active Directory 2003 management. 2. A minimum of one (1) year IT technical support experience in Windows XP desktop.3. A minimum of one (1) year IT technical support experience in installation of desktop hardware/peripherals and printers. Candidate may be expected to lift equipment that may weigh up to 50 pounds, or candidate may be required to be down on the floor and to move cables under desks, etc.4. A minimum of one (1) year experience diagnosing/supporting TCP/IP Networks in a LAN/WAN environment DESIRABLE Experience Listed in order of importance: 1. Experience with Server 2003 hardware/software support including server administration. 2. Experience running a Network Attached Storage (NAS) solution. 3. Experience with EMC Legato RepliStor.
