Job Description Senior Project Manager Product Innovation Team: The Product Innovation (PI) area is new to the organization, and transforms the previous product management function shifting the focus away from traditional MI products to complementary products and services that can drive incremental revenue to company and its partners and differentiate us from the competition. In support of Product Innovation program, we require a senior business analyst/program manager to serve as the primary lead in driving PI initiatives. This position will require an ability to analyze and integrate various IT and Business process elements to develop business processes and technical requirements for a given PI program or initiative. Primary Responsibilities : Drive the analysis and requirements activities associated with a given project or initiative. Develop business process maps consistent with the formulation of requirements and specifications. Using project management techniques identify, coordinate and drive project tasks and deliverables. The position will have point responsibility for developing and managing an effective project plan, coordination of project activities, tracking open issues and providing project status to sponsor(s) and key stakeholders. Working closely with the VP-Product Innovation, facilitate the overall execution of a given PI program or initiative. Serve as proactive liaison between Product Innovation and IT areas. Required Skills: Minimum of 8 years progressive business/technical analysis and/or project management experience in an application development or technology services environment. Proven, practical experience in mortgage banking and/or financial services is needed. Specific background of executing financial services/mortgage banking cross-sell and customer retention programs across multiple platforms, including point of sale, web, email, mail and outbound telemarketing with particular emphasis on IT and operations integration would certainly be a plus. A self-starter with proven project management experience with hands-on knowledge of Six Sigma, CMM or other quality programs. Strong technical acumen with good customer relationship management experience General analytical skills with fundamental understanding of technical concepts (ie, data flow, interfaces, testing and program development) and business processes Ability to manage multiple projects and related tasks concurrently and recognize priority situations in a production environment A creative thinker with a proven track record of delivering solutions. Exhibit strong communications, writing and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of business and technical personnel Demonstrated leadership and accountability with a commitment to excellence.
