Description:
Duties: Handle day to day administration of the Linux infrastructure including system monitoring, administration, upgrades and disaster recovery Maintain a development environment made up of Linux and Solaris Servers Determine hardware requirements, installation and verification Monitor and maintain internal Web Servers Monitor inter-office connectivity to minimize system failures and down time/ Performance measuring Requirements: 5+ years experience with Linux Administration Preferred experience with Red Hat Linux. Knowledge with Logical Volumes, RAID, ext2 and ext3 filesystems, tcpdump, NFS, syslog and strace Scripting experience preferred Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux security environment Familiar with DNS/LDAP and or NIS , TCP/IP and UDP Systems monitoring, backup systems, rpm and patching Windows, MS Office experience BS Degree preferred
