Our Client is currently in need of a VMWare Architect/Engineer /Admin for a First Shift CONTRACT TO PERM opportunity in Atlanta, GA. VMWare Architect/Engineer/Admin with advanced experience with VMWare virtualization products. Ability to learn new systems and techniques quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with Unix/Linux (very important), Novell, and Citrix. Skilled in peer to peer and Client Server networks. Skilled in Network Protocols, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage (SAN and NAS), data backup and restoration, Bash/SHELL, HTML, PERL, PHP, Web Development. Designed custom Web applications. Experience with MYSQL and Relational Database Management Systems. Effective interaction with customers, clients, 3rd party vendors, and end-users. Excellent problem-solver and trouble-shooter. Ability to work alone or as part of a team. Skill Sets: VMware experience (Enterprise Level experience) Building out the ESX Servers and the Virtual Machine residing on those ESX Servers Apache & Tomcat experience. Server configuration; setting up IP's, DNS, set up file systems, some NFS configuration Skills in order of importance Linux/Unix/Solaris VMWare support background not architect in anon-windows environment Red hat Apache Tom Cat JBoss SQL/Oracle Scripting
