Development Tools Microsoft No 6 Miscellaneous .NET Yes 1 Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using 6 + Years Miscellaneous Mercury No 6 Programming Languages C# Yes 1 Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using 6 + Years Protocols Messaging No 4 Specialties OO Design No 2 Expert 9-10 Currently Using 6 + Years Specialties OO Programming No 3 Expert 9-10 Currently Using 6 + Years Necessary Skills: .net/c# (3.0) SQL 2005 a little Java (really just a plus) Nice to Haves: crystal reports/Business objects *Must be a US citizen or Green Card Holder* *Must be able to pass US Federal Security Clearance* Roles and Responsibilities: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for providing high quality technology solutions that address Public Sector Receivables business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will be expected to adhere to Public Sector Receivables IT coding standards, procedures, and techniques. You will be expected to write, and contribute to, the technical code and design documentation. You will be expected to understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet business-defined service levels. You will be responsible for developing technical design documentation based on functional design specifications and implementing solutions using structured programming methods. Your design and implemented solutions must be reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the service levels associated with mission-critical solutions. You will work within a team of developers (user-interface, middle tier business logic, data access) and application architects interfacing with business analysts, database developers, infrastructure architects, and quality assurance testers to ensure the successful delivery of an integrated solution meeting the needs of the Public Sector Receivables business. Job Family Description: Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
