Description:
Senior Software Engineer with extensive C++ and server-side experience on a Linux platform. This role includes but is not limited to the following activities: Augment and maintain our existing C++ and SDK interface to our proprietary phonetic search engine Develop and maintain C++ applications for internal and demonstration use Debugging and optimization of cross-platform product on Linux The candidate must be a strong C++ programmer with at least 5+ years experience in large-scale server-side development projects. This includes broad experience in designing multi-threaded, multi-processor software packages. The successful candidate will be thoroughly familiar with high-performance programming practices. Must have relevant experience in developing and supporting a commercial C++ SDK. BS (or higher) degree in a relevant engineering or science field is required. Required development experience: Expert C++ programmer (5+ years) 3+ years C++ development in a Linux environment 3+ years Multiprocessor programming 3+ years cross-platform experience with at least 2 of the following { Windows, Linux, OS/x } Experienced with creating maintaining build scripts Experience with designing/supporting a commercial SDK
