Description:
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
To assist in all sales and use tax matters for all U.S. SAP companies including compliance, reserves, audits, and other duties, as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Assist in preparation of sales and use tax reserves and evaluation of reserves needs, including establishing reserves for acquired entities.
* Assist with all related sales and use tax accounting, including monthly account analysis.
* Assist in support of sales and use tax audits including fulfilling documentation requests, organization of materials, schedule preparation, audit defense, customer contact, etc.
* Assist with preparation and review of monthly sales and use tax compliance, as assigned, and filing of refund claims and amended returns, as needed.
* Assist with customer exemption review, customer tax questions and disputes.
* Assist with tax research for all products and services sold and purchased.
* Review and utilize voluntary disclosure and amnesty opportunities. Conduct nexus reviews for new entities and ensure necessary registrations are completed
