For more information, visit www.3M.com/touch. 3M Touch Systems is seeking an entry level software developer to join an experienced team developing software support packages for touch screen electronics and systems as a Software Developer. This software includes device drivers, control panels, support applications and hardware diagnostic software. Also included in the work will be support for lab software tools, and custom manufacturing and analysis programs. This business is based in Methuen, Massachusetts. This position is suited to a university or college student graduating in 2010. This person will work closely with experienced software engineers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Development and debugging of new code as defined by business priorities and plans
Addition of new features to existing software packages
Stay in touch with the implications of new operating systems and platforms; and as directed by the business implement the implied changes to 3M Touch Systems software
Interface with 3M Touch Systems' software QA team and respond to feedback provided by them
Diligent recording of activities, decisions and experimental results
