This start up software company that plans on going public shortly knows that a company’s ability to get information in front of large audiences is to key to their profitability. In their network today they have 1000s of publishers of all sizes with a diverse array of content needs who use their service daily to program video on their websites. They syndicate content from 200+ partners spanning news and information, entertainment, sports, fashion, business, web TV and more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a brand new position. As the new senior accountant, you will play a key role in staff management (nurturing and developing and AP and AR clerk) in addition to leading the revenue recognition of complex software and other multi-element arrangements. As the new senior accountant you will participate in the preparation of financial statements and accompanying reports including general ledger transaction journals and reconciliation of asset and liability account balances to ensure their accuracy. Your ability to be flexible, confident and multi task are required for your success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* BS Degree in accounting or finance.
* 5 – 7 years of general accounting, specifically revenue recognition experience.
* CPA preferred.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Salary Range $85,000 - $90,000 with bonus, options and benefits.
