We are currently seeking a senior accounting professional with a background in financial analysis, reporting, and specifically SEC reporting, for an accounting leadership role. In this role you will personally be responsible for ensuring that corporate accounting is accomplished in accordance with GAAP and that all appropriate disclosures are made, and you will be directly involved with the preparation of financial statements and SEC reporting.The type of experience that will be useful in this role includes: SEC Reporting: 10Q, 10K, Registration Statements, SEC Filings Internal Financial Statements and Monthly Reporting: Balance Sheet Analysis, Variance Analysis, GeneralLedger, and Month-end Close. Compliance with SOX 404 and US GAAP RequirementsOther responsibilities will include: Interfacing with independent public accounting firm. Potential involvement with acquisitions. Responsible for special projects as assigned. Provide input to departmental budgets.The ideal candidate for this role will bring with them: CPA Certification - This role REQUIRES a CPA Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. 7+ years of applicable accounting and audit experience. Other experience and required skills include: Proven communication, leadership and hands-on skills. Thorough knowledge of accounting policies, practices and systems. Excellent written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to solve complex problems through analysis of various factors. Advanced Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and of ERP, reporting, and equity-related software.
