Description:
Market Strategies International is the 17th largest research firm in the U.S. according to “Honomichl Top 50,” published in the June 2008 issue of Marketing News. We manage our own Telephone Research Centers which include telephone "field" interviewing staff and all supporting management, quality assurance and supervisory personnel. In 2008, we conducted more than 2 million telephone interviews with a staff of over 1,300 research interviewers.
 
We are currently seeking a Client Portal Support Programmer for our Research Phone Center in North Little Rock, AR. 
 
Responsibilities:
Provide support for existing J2EE web application.
Review web application requests for consistency to company standards and guidelines.
Design, Code and Test web application solutions.
Maintain client web application uptime. 
Review specification documents and provide recommendations.
Set up client web applications.
Check data that is to be loaded into the web repository.
Manage web application data, reporting requirements, reports and web requests.
 Qualifications:
Must have 1-3 years experience working in a programming and web portal maintenance position, preferably within market research.
Must have a BA/BS degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have experience with SQL, JSP, JSTL, and Scripting.
Must have JavaScript programming skills.
PC Hardware, Linux, Windows and Networking skills are a plus.
Must have solid time management and organization skills.
Must have an above average attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills.
Must be able to manage multiple competing priorities.
Must have above average communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
