Job DescriptionJob Description:Position: Application Developer IFocus: RDBMS and GIS for the Pipeline Transmission IndustrySalary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 + full benefitsReports to: Lead Application DeveloperLocations: Atlanta, Houston, TorontoJob DescriptionDesign, develop, test, implement and document scalable applications in a C# environment.Strong ADO.Net skills required along with database experience primarily with Oracle/SQL Server/and Access. Additionally, experience with ESRI ArcObjects and GIS would be considered anasset.Company sponsored travel to client locations will be required periodically for consultation,analysis, implementation, and end user training.Job Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or GIS with emphasis on applicationdevelopment.• At least 1 years of application development with Microsoft products and at least 1 yearsC# and ADO.NET experience.• At least one year’s experience in development with RDMBS including either ORACLE orMS SQL Server.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Must be presentable in business / professional environment in both appearance anddemeanor.• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently,• Must be able to multi-task, and manage time constraints and make deadlines.Global Information Systems, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
