Description:

(www.supergen.com) brings together high tech and biotech to search for new, more effective drugs for the treatment of cancer.  We are looking for a motivated, dedicated professional who wants to combine their skills with our uniquely talented team to change the current paradigm of drug discovery and development.  This candidate will be working in the Corporate Office located in Dublin, California – just a 10 minute shuttle ride from the Dublin-Pleasanton BART station.
 
Position Summary:
 
·         Generate listings, summaries and graphical presentations of clinical data using SAS 9.2 for Windows.
·         Create standard programs and macros.
·         Review clinical data for inappropriate, illogical and/or inconsistent values.
·         Interact with other SuperGen personnel to maintain quality standards.
·         Very good familiarity with SAS and other Windows-based computer programs.
o   PROC SQL
o   PROC PLOT
o   PROC REPORT or other method to create report-quality SAS output
·         Understanding of CDISC structure for datasets and ability to merge relational database records. (PROC SQL)
·         Familiarity with medical terminology.
·         Attention to detail.
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·         Ability to work in a regulated environment and adhere to SuperGen standard operating procedures.
·         Ability to manage work activities to meet department timelines.
·         The position is part-time at 20 hours per week, for approximately 3 months. 
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree required with 2 - 3 years experience.
