Divisional Controller, Insurance
Property and casualty insurance firm is expanding!
Responsibilities
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly and year end operational and statutory closing processes.
• Manage resource allocation and facilitate skills assessment and training for segment resources
• Identify and recommend process improvements
• Oversee the internal and external audit process for the segment (GAAP and Statutory)
• Participation in system implementations and other special projects, as needed
Requirements
• Successful candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 7 to 10 years of related experience.
• A CPA with Property and Casualty insurance accounting experience required
• advanced analytical, problem solving and relationship building skills are required.
• Responsive, deadline-oriented, possessing desire to provide the highest caliber of service to the clients
