Modis is currently seeking a Wireless Network Engineer an exciting contract opportunity with our client in the Atlanta metro area The position is expected to start immediately and last for an initial duration of 12 Months. There is a high likelihood of long-term contract extension and/or full time conversion. Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the US without the requirement of visa sponsorship. JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to provided resources and support for mobility projects. Responsibilities will include of forecasting and queuing of complex service mediation systems, test planning and execution. - Qualified candidates must be well versed in 3GPP and IETF standards and protocols with a strong background in regulatory standards. - Extensive experience with various mobility protocols and services. - Must be proficient with tracing tools such as Tracert, Access7, Ethereal or Shark - A solid understanding of circuit switched and packet core networks including 2G, 3G and 4G migration paths is required. REQUIRED SKILLS - 3GPP, IETF, CALEA - SS7, SMS, MAP, CAP, SIP, HTTP, ISUP, V.30, SNMP - Tracing Tools such as Tracert, Access7, Ethereal or Shark - OSS Protocols HOW TO APPLY Qualified individuals are invited to apply for immediate consideration!
