Job Summary: - Mid level Java/J2EE Developers needed with 2 years or more experience in the design, development, integration and management of Intranet, public-facing/consumer Web based applications and Portals. - Ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Java/J2EE application development, J2EE-related technologies and Web Services. - The individual must have working knowledge and experience with rapid development methodologies. - Experience should include workflow, rules-based engine and transformation engines highly desirable. - Large mission critical system is being re-architected. Must have skills/knowledge/experience: - Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience - Java/J2EE development - Experience with Spring, Hibernate and Struts - Technical skills should include: J2SE, JMS, XSLT and other XML related technologies - Strong analytical skills and an understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design - Web services - J2EE best practices, design patterns and performance engineering - Develop and maintain technical (design documents, unit and integration plans) and end-user documentation. - Research and fix data errors as needed. Desired Skills: - Some combination of the following: Axis or Glue, WSRP, Portlets, Servlets, JSP, Tapestry, Tiles, OSWorkflow, JESS or Drools. - Working knowledge of Oracle9i/10g, JBoss Server, Clustering, LDAP, JAAS, JMX. - Should have worked on any of the following: Enterprise Architect/Rational Rose/XDE/Together. - Knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, Resin, Business Process Management (Workflow).
