We currently have an opportunity for a QA Analyst to test features within applications and provides assistance in support of the application testing effort. QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio.NET, Rational Robot, Source Safe, SQL Server Familiarity with HTML and XML Basic knowledge of functional and system testing Basic knowledge of test case design and execution Basic knowledge of defect reporting Ability to work independently General understanding of software development processes and methodologies used Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Analytical, exploratory, and problem solving skills including the ability to think outside of the box Ability to identify issues or problems and to remember details. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Oral and written communication skills necessary to express ideas clearly and effectively communicate technical information Ability to collaborate, possess team orientation, and have dedication to meeting and exceeding the expectations of other team members EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Baccalaureate degree in computer science or related field from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution Minimum of 3 years experience as Tester or equivalent position Experience with basic software development and testing methodologies Experience with basic software development life cycles and product development processes is preferred Experience Hire Power with Jawood!
