Description:
- Have knowledge of microcontroller requirements and associated specifications in a number of application areas that include Process Control, Precision Instrumentation and Building Technologies. - Be the microcontroller expert within the Industrial & Instrumentation (I&I) Systems and Technology team providing expert advice on microcontroller requirements to influence product roadmaps, product definitions and tools requirements in the assigned applications spaces. - Work with other members of the I&I Systems and Technology team to determine appropriate system partitioning, system specifications as well as interface, peripheral and operating system requirements in assigned application spaces. - Work with other members of the I&I Systems and Technology team to develop system level solutions such as Reference Designs, Demo Systems, Proof of Concepts etc. - Work with the I&I Segment Marketing group to develop requirement documents for new ASSP developments which would be presented to Core Products and Technology Groups. - Develop working relationships with key technical contacts and influencers at targeted customer accounts in assigned applications spaces. - These positions are part of the Segment organisation and can be based at any of the major ADI locations
