RELIANCE HOME COMFORT is currently seeking: 1 Full-Time Operations Supervisor in Sudbury
This role is accountable for the efficient day-to-day operations of the Operations Department, while ensuring customer service excellence standards are achieved. Direct supervision of all Technicians, including: performance management, employee engagement and development.
Hours of Operation:
The Operations Department can operate between the hours of 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Sunday depending upon market demand. The operations Supervisor will be responsible to manage the Service activities during normal operating hours and will be expected to perform the function of ‘Duty Manager’ on a rotational basis with other branch management.
Key Role Responsibilities and Functions:
Ensures the cost of delivering service is contained within approved operating budget, and assure minimal interruptions to the daily work schedule.
Ensures adherence to established methods to measure and maintain customer service excellence standards. Take corrective action on a timely basis where such standards fall below 100% satisfaction.
Implements established health and safety plan. Monitors, trains, and adjusts as required.
Responsible for employee development, and performance assessment and management to ensure minimum standards are met and or exceeded.
Responsible for monitoring vacations, shifts schedule, personal days and sick days.
Responsible for the administration of the collective agreement in the business unit.
Deliver prompt and efficient resolution and recovery of customer inquires and complaints to improve overall customer satisfaction.
Efficient Inventory Control, completion of daily work activities, and managing of Labour cost will be practiced daily. Manage Service Callbacks to within budgeted targets.
The Supervisor will abide by all Company policies, rules, and regulations, always acting in the best interest of the Company and its customers.
Perform any other duties required by your Manager of Designate.
Perform on – call duty supervisors rotation requirements.
Job Knowledge and Work Experience
1 -2 years management / supervisory experience
Residential Rental / HVAC Service and or Installation experience preferred
Skills/Abilities
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to negotiate successful outcomes
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
Must be adept at use of Windows applications
