Description:
FINCA International is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager (FRM) for FINCA Georgia to be based in Tbilisi. The FRM will ensure timely and adequate reporting to the following stakeholders: Financial Supervisory Agency of Georgia, management and lenders in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), internal standards and lender-specific requirements. S/he will ensure that the finance activities will support FINCA Georgia in pursuing its mission with a minimum of risk and a maximum of efficiency. S/he oversees month-end, quarterly, half-year and year end close processes and ensure timely delivery of financial statements.
The Reporting Manager is also expected to:
- Set up sound reporting infrastructure: including adequately trained personnel, reporting timeline, reporting quality control system, automated reporting tools (in cooperation with IT and external vendors);
- Maintain relationships with the stakeholders as well as internal auditing company on the matters related to reporting;
- Supervise reporting department staff;
- Survey internal reporting needs and propose innovations in order to improve relevance and usefulness of the reporting;
- Conduct staff trainings on usage and interpretation of the relevant reports.
- Maintain monthly/quarterly cash forecasts and work with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage liquidity and compliance with investment policy;
- Work closely with the company’s internal auditor to maintain and monitor controls across a wide range of processes and systems.
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, advanced Western degree is an advantage;
- At least 5 years experience in Accounts or Banking;
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills;
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks and monitor progress;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
- Proficiency in business English is required (interview will be conducted in English).
