Liberty Mutual is seeking a Sales Recruitment Manager professional with proactive leadership, positive energy and team approach to manage a team of recruiters that provide full lifecycle recruiting for the sales function within the Personal Markets strategic business unit. Previous recruiting management experience within a high volume sales capacity is required. Must be able to build strong and effective relationships, motivate a team of recruiters who source and hire the sales talent that drives our business growth. Proven track record of executing and managing results using sales recruiting metrics. Directs the employment process including sourcing, identifying, pre-screening/qualifying, interviewing, developing offer packages, negotiating and closing candidates. May hold a requisition load of management level and/or difficult positions that require the ability to develop specific sourcing strategies to establish a diverse candidate pool. Promotes Liberty Mutual and SBU-specific brands across numerous markets and professional communities. Applies a great degree of creativity, short- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding and personal organization. Responsibilities: Manages a team of recruiting staff for assigned functional group(s) within an SBU or department(s). Ensures that recruiting staff provides full lifecycle recruiting support (planning, sourcing, assessing, closing and assimilating) in a timely, effective and consistent manner. Implements work standards and performance objectives and measures employees against such standards.
Works with senior management and Home Office HR Managers to develop workforce planning strategies for search assignments. Leads process of proactively and creatively establishing strategies that ensure a clear understanding of process, timing and methods.
Proactively, professionally and continually source, develop and maintain an effective pipeline and network of diverse talent. Seeks creative solutions for sourcing candidates that positions Liberty Mutual's brand strongly in the marketplace and further establishes a culture that promotes excellence and fuels growth. Identifies and attracts senior-level passive job seekers through networking, referrals and direct sourcing methods. Executes and maintains a consistent diversity recruiting strategy, seeking innovative ways to source candidates. Reduces dependency on retained search firms.
Works with HR Managers and business unit leaders to assist with succession planning and internal mobility. Develops a clear understanding of the roles and works to evaluate internal talent accordingly. Communicates job market trends and practices to HR Managers and senior managers.
Facilitates full lifecycle of senior-level recruiting process. Uses effective tools to drive the talent selection processes for both internal and external candidates. Develops and negotiates offers according to market conditions and internal compensation guidelines. Performs research to gather competitive data and diversity trends to educate and communicate to internal clients.
Defines and maintains senior-level search strategy and budget. Researches, interviews and selects recruiting agencies to engage on searches. Negotiates and maintains retained search firm contracts and monitors firm productivity and effectiveness.
Works to meet established metrics per the assigned business unit or function. Provides insightful analysis of reports and makes recommendations for improvements.
