Information on the Position
· Part of internal Application Development team providing solutions in the following technologies: Dynamics AX/X++, C#.NET with ASP.NET, BizTalk, Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, and SQL Server (including Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Integration Services).
· Provides 2nd Level Support on database, data warehouse and report solutions.
· Develops new applications, reports and database solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
· Builds, manages, maintains and troubleshoots SQL based ETL Feeds (Extract, Transform, Load) into Data Warehouse solutions.
· Builds, manages, maintains and troubleshoots other mission critical data feeds from third party applications into in-house applications.
· Assists with design and implementation of data marts, data warehousing, dimensional models (logical and physical), and reporting solutions with Analysis Services.
· Programs and customizes feeds, applications, Reporting Services reports and dashboard reports.
· Troubleshoots data integrity and validation issues with Finance, Order to Cash and other internal customer teams and traces problems back to source data, resolve and propagate through to relational Data Warehouse and Analysis Services Cubes.
· Works very closely with database administrators, database developers, and other developers to provide automated web based reporting and dashboard solutions.
Required Skills
· Excellent T-SQL skills including excellent stored procedure writing skills.
· Excellent analytical skills
· SQL Server Integration Services Skills
· Strong development knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
· Proven strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills. Solid communication skills.
· Very strong work ethic. Quick to learn. Strong team player.
· Ability to work independently and manage projects, deadlines, and systems as well as the ability to work as part of a strong team environment. Experience and willingness to follow process and methodology.
PREFERRED
· Strongly preferred SQL Server Analysis Services Skills including data warehouse skills, dimensional modeling, cube design and MDX experience.
· Strong business knowledge of finance, order to cash, sales, time and expense systems
· Experience in BizTalk, DynamicsAX/X++, Microsoft CRM, Sharepoint, and Windows Workflow Foundation.
Education
· Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and/or 3-5 years of experience in the field.
· Certifications: MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer
